Who we are
This website is run by Smart Paving Professionals Ltd (company number 07945776), 39 Bude Road, Filton, Bristol BS34 7HW. We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this site.

What we collect
When you ask for a quote using one of our forms, we collect:
- your name
- your phone number, and your email address if you give it
- your postcode
- the type of work you are interested in
- the page you sent the form from
If you call or email us directly, we keep the details you give us in that conversation.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how you use the site: the pages you visit, roughly where you are (town or region, not your address), the device and browser you use, how you arrived, and actions such as starting a quote or tapping our phone number. This does not include your name, phone number or email address.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry, arrange a site visit and give you a quote.
- To carry out and manage any work you ask us to do.
- To understand which pages and services people are interested in, so we can improve the site (analytics, only with your consent).
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to.
Our legal basis
Under UK data protection law we need a reason to use your information. We rely on:
- Taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, when you ask us for a quote.
- Performing a contract, when we carry out work for you.
- Legal obligation, for records we must keep for tax and accounting.
- Consent, for analytics cookies. You can withdraw it at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with the companies that help us run our business:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website, stores quote requests and delivers our notification emails.
- Google, which provides our business email (Google Workspace) and, if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics.
These companies act on our instructions and must keep your information secure. Some of them may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests that do not lead to any work for up to 2 years, so we can help if you get back in touch. If you become a customer, we keep your details and job records for 6 years after the work is finished, because we need them for guarantees, tax and accounting. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. We use as few as possible:
- sp-cookie-choice (stored in your browser): remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies. Always used.
- cf_consent (Cloudflare): passes your cookie choice to our analytics tool. Always used.
- __cf_bm and other Cloudflare security cookies: protect the site from bots and attacks. Always used.
- Google Analytics cookies (names starting with _ga): tell visits apart so we can count visitors. Only set if you accept, and last up to 2 years.
You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- ask us to delete your information
- object to or ask us to limit how we use it
- withdraw your consent to analytics cookies

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
